He revealed that the corps has deployed personnel to key areas, especially forest zones, to flush out criminals, prioritizing reliable intelligence in their operations.

A statement issued by Amotekun’s Spokesperson, Yusuf Idowu, assured residents of the corps’ commitment to ensuring round-the-clock security.

Omoyele emphasized that the corps is sending a strong message to all criminals, asserting that Osun will not be a safe haven for bandits, kidnappers, or anyone looking to disturb public peace.

“We will not allow criminal elements to operate here. Our officers are on full alert, ready to confront any threats with force,” he stated.

“We are actively monitoring suspicious activities and any attempt to make Osun a base for criminals will be met with decisive action.”

Omoyele further highlighted that Amotekun is not merely a presence but a peacekeeping force, dedicated to fighting terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry.

“We will relentlessly pursue and expel anyone threatening the security of Osun,” he said, urging residents to stay vigilant, report suspicious behavior, and cooperate with security agencies.

“The safety of every individual in Osun is paramount, and we will do everything in our power to ensure bandits, kidnappers, and terrorists have no foothold in the state,” he concluded.
