Breaking: FG Approves New NSCDC Recruitment Drive – Here’s How To Apply

According to Ireporteronline, the Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, made the disclosure on Wednesday during the inauguration of the Corps’ Bwari Divisional Office in Abuja.

Audi confirmed that approval has been secured to begin the recruitment process, though the specific date for applications will be announced later.

“We are preparing to recruit officially, and we appreciate Mr. President for granting approval to enlist well-disciplined Nigerians into the Corps,” he stated.

The Commandant-General also commended the Bwari Area Council for its role in establishing the divisional office, emphasizing that this development would bolster security in the region.

Meanwhile, the FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Olusola Odumosu, expressed gratitude to Bwari Chairman, Dr. John Gabaya, for facilitating the construction of a well-equipped office for the Corps.

Odumosu also highlighted a key operational challenge faced by personnel in the area—maintenance and fueling of operational vehicles—and called for additional support.

“I would like to assure you that now that the division has a better facility to operate from, we will deploy more personnel and working tools.

“Since assuming office, we have created two more divisions, two area commands, and several observation posts.

“These measures aim to bring security closer to the people, ensure a deeper understanding of local security dynamics, and enhance operational planning,” Odumosu added.
