Stop Pretending, Embrace Intimacy, Bishop Adejumo Encourages Wives

She highlighted the significance of mutual satisfaction and open communication in relationships, stating, “I enjoy sex. If I didn’t, how would I have children? Stop pretending. African culture often teaches women to hide their enjoyment of sex, but it’s time to challenge that mindset.”

Adejumo further urged women to let go of outdated beliefs that hinder intimacy within marriage. She stressed that suppressing natural desires could negatively affect relationships, calling for a change in attitudes towards marital intimacy.

Encouraging wives to be more expressive during intimate moments, she advised them to embrace their physical connection without hesitation, saying, “Tell yourself, sex is good. I want my husband.” She also suggested that women be more vocal and active during sex, rather than conforming to passive roles.
