Natasha stated that her approach to leadership—living each day as a senator by educating and engaging with people—has significantly bolstered her support base. Responding to whether she could triumph over Bello and Ododo in a political contest, Natasha asserted, “Yes, I’m very popular. Addressing the controversy surrounding her homecoming rally, Natasha clarified that the decision to use a helicopter for the event originated from her husband. She maintained that no laws were broken, as the road to the rally venue was constructed by her, and her family owned the land where the helicopter landed.

It is noteworthy that the Kogi State government had previously issued a directive banning rallies and requiring convoys to obtain approval before entering the state.
