Abiru’s Easter Message Ignites Hope: Calls for Unity and Steadfast Commitment to Nigeria’s Future

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in the Lagos East Senatorial District and across Nigeria.

In his Easter message, Senator Abiru emphasized the need to promote unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic backgrounds. He urged citizens to reflect on the true significance of Easter by embracing the values of love, sacrifice, and hope.

“As we reflect on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may His teachings guide us toward a more harmonious and united nation,” Senator Abiru said.

Addressing the current economic climate, the senator acknowledged the strain of ongoing reforms but encouraged Nigerians to remain resilient and supportive.

He expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that positive strides are already being made in key sectors.

“With continued unity and shared commitment, I believe we will overcome current hardships and lay the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria,” he added.

Senator Abiru also called on people of all faiths—Christians, Muslims, and others—to come together in prayer and support for national progress.
