Famous Hausa political singer, Dauda Abdullahi, popularly known as Rarara, has officially married Kannywood actress Aisha Ahmed, widely known as Aisha Humaira.

Sources revealed that the wedding ceremony, held in Humaira’s hometown in Borno State, was graced by numerous fans and top political figures. Notable attendees included the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, and former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, who stood in as the groom’s representative.

Rarara and Humaira, who have collaborated on various projects — with the actress featuring in several of Rarara’s music videos — are being celebrated as a perfect match, blending love and artistic talent.

Meanwhile, tragedy struck Akaleku village in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, where suspected Fulani bandits carried out a deadly attack on Wednesday night. They killed a newlywed man and abducted his wife, plunging the community into fear.

Eyewitnesses told Vanguard that the assailants stormed the couple’s home around 11 p.m., fatally shooting the husband and kidnapping the wife, who had only been married for two weeks, following their wedding on April 12, 2025.

The attack took place in the remote village near the Lafia/Markurdi Highway, an area increasingly troubled by banditry and communal clashes. As of now, the whereabouts of the abducted woman remain unknown, and her family and neighbors are in deep distress.

In a separate incident, the parish priest of St. Gerald Quasi Parish, located in Kurmin Risga, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Rev. Fr. Ibrahim Amos, was kidnapped by armed bandits on Thursday.
