Alile Raises Alarm: Opposition Coalition A Political Coup In Disguise!

According to IReporter Online, Dr. Alile was reacting to the recent high-profile meeting involving key opposition figures — including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and ex-Anambra Governor Peter Obi — held under the umbrella of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

She accused the opposition of attempting to manipulate the public through sympathy campaigns, with no meaningful ideas to restore or reform the country.

“This alliance isn’t about ideology or love for Nigerians,” she asserted. “It’s a gathering of bitter men who had the opportunity to lead and failed.

Now they hide behind economic hardship to claw their way back into power.”

Dr. Alile further stated that these same politicians, now posing as saviors, are responsible for years of economic mismanagement, entrenched corruption, and decaying infrastructure.

“They wrecked our economy with unsustainable subsidies and left our national institutions in ruins. Now, they pretend to be the solution? Nigerians are wiser,” she added.

She lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for enacting bold reforms, including the removal of the fuel subsidy, which she described as a “bleeding wound” previous administrations lacked the courage to address.

“According to IReporter Online, President Tinubu made the tough choices they ran away from. That is true leadership — taking unpopular steps for the country’s greater good.”

Dr. Alile also praised the unification of the foreign exchange rate and pointed to over $30 billion in pledged foreign investments as a sign of growing confidence in Nigeria’s economy.

She emphasized that critical sectors — including agriculture, energy, and infrastructure — are witnessing significant revival.

She highlighted how women, particularly those in rural areas, are benefiting from renewed access to federal programs, grants, and MSME support — a shift she credits to the Tinubu administration’s inclusive policies.

“We now have targeted interventions through the Bank of Industry and other institutions empowering women entrepreneurs and farmers,” she said.

Dr. Alile urged Nigerian women and youths not to be misled by what she described as “media theatrics and protests” allegedly funded by the opposition.

“They wore poverty like a political badge, but when in power, they weaponized it. They ignored women, plundered national wealth, and turned hope into suffering,” she said.

She dismissed the opposition’s coalition as lacking fresh ideas, offering only “recycled faces and empty slogans.”

“The APC isn’t perfect, but we are focused. President Tinubu has a blueprint — and he’s executing it with courage and clarity,” she concluded.

In a final call to action, Dr. Alile charged APC women and grassroots leaders to stay mobilized and vigilant:
