Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Win Touted As A Done Deal By Nasarawa West Senator

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) lawmaker representing Nasarawa West, Senator Aliyu Wadada, has boldly declared that the 2027 presidential race is “already taken” by President Bola Tinubu, according to iReporter Online.

Speaking to State House correspondents on Tuesday after a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Wadada revealed his strong support for Tinubu’s ongoing leadership.

According to iReporter Online, Wadada explained that his visit was to pay his “usual respect” and express gratitude for the President’s public felicitation following his recent turbaning as the Maga Jindengi of Lafia on August 2, 2025.

Despite being an SDP member, Wadada emphasized that the Presidency is “the home of Nigerians,” recalling his political journey across various parties, including PDP and APC.

According to iReporter Online, Wadada hinted at a possible return to APC, stating that although SDP has not offended him, current circumstances may not justify his continued stay in the party.

He stressed that opposition parties like the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have no viable chance against Tinubu’s performance in office.

Wadada challenged opposition aspirants to present concrete policies rather than “baseless criticisms,” specifically on issues like subsidy removal, foreign exchange reforms, infrastructure, and economic development.

Highlighting recent achievements such as the Tax Reform Bill and major infrastructural projects, he praised Tinubu’s administration for driving significant progress nationwide.

In his concluding remarks, Wadada declared, “The 2027 space is already taken, occupied by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” firmly positioning the incumbent as the leading figure for the next presidential term.
