I Was Hospitalized” — Crayon Breaks Silence On Mental Health Struggle
Nigerian singer Crayon has opened up about a challenging phase in his life marked by mental health struggles that forced him to step away from music. According to Ireporter Online, the artist made the revelation during a live conversation with content creator Carter Efe, where he reflected on the pressures he faced in 2022.
The singer explained that expectations from both his family and the demands of the music industry created overwhelming stress, which significantly affected his well-being. He noted that the situation escalated into a serious health condition that required medical intervention and an extended period of therapy.
Crayon disclosed that he was hospitalized as part of his treatment process and had to take time off to focus entirely on his recovery. After regaining stability, he gradually returned to the studio, marking his comeback with the release of songs such as Labalaba and Overloading.
