Osimhen Reacts After Scoring As Galatasaray Move Within Reach Of The Title
According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has expressed pride and relief after scoring a crucial goal that helped Galatasaray move a step closer to clinching the Turkish Super Lig title. The forward broke the deadlock five minutes before half-time in a commanding victory, with further goals from Barış Yılmaz and Lucas Torreira sealing the result.
The win leaves Galatasaray on 74 points from 31 matches, placing them within reach of a fourth consecutive league title. Speaking after the match, Osimhen said the victory was a strong response following disappointment in the cup, praising the team’s overall performance and determination.
He noted that scoring goals is part of his responsibility and credited the squad for maintaining focus at a critical stage of the season. Osimhen also emphasized that the team remains fully concentrated on securing the championship, especially with an important away fixture against Samsunspor approaching, where a positive result could confirm the title.
Addressing pre-match comments from rivals Fenerbahçe regarding his protective arm gear, the striker dismissed the criticism, insisting his focus remained on performing on the pitch and helping his team secure victory.
