According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, is set to release his fourth studio album titled “M$NEY” on May 1.

The artist announced the release date via his Instagram page, where he shared a video showing a stone carver working on what is believed to be the album’s cover artwork.

The 13-track project marks his first full-length body of work under his independent imprint. It features previously released singles including “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster” featuring Tiakola, and “Worship” in collaboration with DJ Snake.

The forthcoming album is expected to showcase Asake’s signature blend of Fuji-inspired vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and Afrobeats influences.

M$NEY also represents his fourth studio album in as many years since his breakout run in 2022. Asake rose to mainstream prominence with the 2020 hit single “Lady” and has since established himself as one of Afrobeats’ most streamed artists globally.

His debut album “Mr Money With The Vibe” released in 2022 achieved commercial success and helped define his unique sound fusion. He followed up with “Work of Art” in 2023, which produced hit records such as “Lonely At The Top” and continued its strong chart performance over time.

In 2024, he released “Lungu Boy,” a project that featured international collaborations and broke streaming records for first-day performance by a Nigerian album on Spotify.

Asake has also gained global recognition, including a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
