The All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that its National Working Committee (NWC) will determine whether there will be an extension for the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms to aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Ireporter Online, the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking with journalists. He explained that the party is currently operating strictly within the approved timetable for the sale of forms, in line with its previously released schedule.

Yilwatda noted that any decision on a possible extension would be taken at the NWC level and through due process, stressing that no extension has been granted at this time.

He further affirmed that the sales process is progressing smoothly without any challenges, adding that commercial banks and party officials are effectively managing the exercise. He also reiterated the party’s commitment to fairness and inclusivity, stating that the APC remains open and democratic, offering equal opportunities to all aspirants.
