According to Ireporter Online, former Big Brother Naija star Beauty Tukura has provided an update on the welfare of fellow reality TV personality, Ilebaye Odiniya, following growing concern over a distressing livestream that sparked panic on social media.

Naija News reports that Ilebaye had earlier triggered widespread alarm after an emotional live video surfaced in the early hours of Saturday, in which she appeared visibly distressed and tearful, allegedly following an assault. In the footage, she was seen with noticeable facial swelling while repeatedly pleading for help and requesting to leave the situation.

The video quickly went viral, prompting urgent reactions from fans and colleagues. Beauty Tukura subsequently took to her Instagram page, appealing to the public to assist in locating Ilebaye, noting that she was no longer reachable and had indicated she was in Abuja. She urged anyone with the ability to track her number or location to intervene immediately.

In her update at the time, Beauty wrote, “Please, who can track a number. Ilebaye isn’t reachable anymore. She was about to send her location. Please, who can help? She said she’s in Abuja. Help is on the way. Ah!!!”

In a fresh statement, Beauty confirmed that Ilebaye is now safe and no longer in any immediate danger. She reassured concerned fans that the situation had been brought under control, while stressing that the full details of the incident would be shared by Ilebaye herself when she is ready.

“She’s no longer in harm’s way. Thank God. It’s not my story to tell, but thanks, everyone. Ilebaye is fine and she’ll tell her story in her time. Thanks, everyone,” she said.
