Atiku Collects ADC Presidential Nomination Receipt
According to Ireporter Online, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has officially obtained his payment receipt for the purchase of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The ADC confirmed this in a post shared on its official handle on Saturday, stating that the ₦90 million presidential nomination form was paid for on May 8, 2026.
Atiku, a prominent figure within the party, is among those seeking the ADC presidential ticket for the upcoming election cycle.
The party described the development as a notable step in what it called a broader push for democratic renewal and inclusive leadership, adding that it remains committed to unity, economic recovery, improved security, and national development.
It further disclosed that the formal presentation of nomination forms is scheduled to take place on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja.
The statement added that the movement within the party is gaining momentum as more aspirants continue to show interest in its presidential ticket.
Meanwhile, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi and presidential aspirant Mohammed Hayatu-Deen are also reported to have picked up the party’s nomination form.
