Why ‘Love’ From Loved Ones Often Fades Over Time – Leo Da Silva Opens Up
According to Ireporter Online, reality star Leo DaSilva has sparked conversation on social media after sharing his thoughts on the temporary nature of affection from loved ones, stating that such love often fades with time and across generations.
In a post shared online, he explained that while people are typically mourned and deeply missed after death, the intensity of that emotional connection tends to diminish as time passes and new generations emerge. He suggested that recognising this impermanence could influence how individuals approach emotional healing and personal development.
“I don’t know how to explain this without it sounding sad but you see that love we get from our loved ones? It’s temporary. Soon as you die, people will miss you after. Maybe a couple of people will still have that love. But generations will pass and that love will pass with it,” he wrote.
He added that although being loved while alive is meaningful, understanding its temporary nature can change one’s perspective on pain and recovery.
“I am not saying having people love you when you’re alive is pointless but the moment you understand that it’s temporary, a lot of things will change about your healing,” he stated.
DaSilva further drew references from biblical narratives, noting that several prominent figures achieved greatness despite lacking strong family support. He suggested that personal struggles, including family-related pain, can sometimes become a driving force for success, citing Joseph’s story as an example.
“If you read your Bible, you’ll see that many people who went on to achieve great things were not necessarily loved by their family, they left their family to focus on God’s purpose for their life. The pain your family will inflict on you will drive your success like Joseph,” he added.
