A woman has ignited widespread debate online after narrating a custody dispute involving her younger brother and his former partner, a member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith, following the birth of their child.

According to Ireporter Online, the woman explained that the relationship between the two led to pregnancy, with her brother reportedly accepting responsibility and preparing to support both mother and child.

She alleged that tensions began during childbirth when the woman refused to disclose her hospital location, preventing the father from being present at the delivery. After the birth, she further claimed that access to the child was still denied.

“My younger brother secretly dated a Jehovah’s Witness girl and along the line she got pregnant. My brother accepted responsibility immediately. He was ready to take care of both her and the baby. But the shocking part is that the moment she went into labour, she refused to tell him the hospital she was admitted to. After giving birth, she still refused to let him see his own child,” she narrated.

The narrator further alleged that the mother of the child insisted the father would only be granted access if he joined her church, a condition she described as unacceptable, prompting her to share the story publicly.
