Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has opened up about her evolving views on marriage, revealing that her outlook has changed significantly as she approaches the age of 30.

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, the reality television star made the remarks in a video while reflecting on how her perception of unmarried women in their 30s has shifted with age and personal experience.

Phyna admitted that when she was in her early 20s, turning 29 seemed like a distant milestone. However, now that she has reached that stage in life, she said the reality of growing older has given her a new perspective.

She explained that she used to wonder why some of her aunts remained unmarried despite being in their early 30s, often assuming something was wrong with them because they had not settled down.

Reflecting on those thoughts, Phyna said she now realizes her earlier assumptions were misplaced. As she finds herself approaching the same age, she acknowledged that being unmarried does not mean there is a problem with a person.

The reality star stressed that her experience has taught her that many of the judgments younger people make about older, unmarried women are unfair, adding that she now understands her aunts were never the issue.
