PSC Publishes List Of 50,000 Successful Police Recruitment Applicants

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially published the names of 50,000 successful applicants recruited into the Nigeria Police Force following the completion of its nationwide recruitment exercise. According to Ireporter Online, the announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Commission’s Head of Protocol and Public Relations, Torty Njoku Kalu.

The Commission disclosed that the successful candidates emerged after completing the written examination and other mandatory stages of the recruitment process. It described the exercise as thorough, transparent, inclusive, and fair, emphasizing that the selection process was conducted in collaboration with key government institutions and relevant stakeholders.

The PSC stated that the recruitment exercise was carried out in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, state career and counselling departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee. It noted that the participation of these bodies ensured strict adherence to transparency, fairness, and the federal character principle throughout the recruitment process.

Applicants who participated in the written examination have been directed to check their application status through the official police recruitment portal, which becomes accessible from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Candidates are expected to log in using the details provided during their application to verify whether they have been selected.

The Commission also urged applicants to rely solely on information published through the official recruitment portal and other verified PSC communication channels. It further revealed that successful candidates would receive confirmation through the email addresses and telephone numbers submitted during their applications, along with detailed instructions on the next phase of the exercise.

According to the Commission, successful applicants will proceed to designated police training institutions for medical examinations and documentation before the commencement of formal training. It added that the specific dates, reporting times, and assigned training institutions for each successful candidate will be communicated in due course.
