2023 Presidential Election: See Delta Final Result

Last Saturday’s presidential election in Delta State was won by Peter Obi of the Labour Party, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

INEC announced the results early Tuesday, with Obi scoring 341,866 to floor closest challengers.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whose vice presidential candidate is Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, came in second, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) came in third.

While the PDP received 161,600 votes to finish second, the APC received 90,183 votes to finish third in the state. With 3,122 votes, the candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) finished fourth.

According the INEC, out of 667,149 accredited voters, 654,650 votes were recorded. They said that 615,341 votes were recorded as valid while 39,309 votes were rejected.
