2023 Presidential Election: See Niger Final Result

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has won the presidential election in Niger State, North-central Nigeria.

Mr Tinubu received 375,183 votes in the state. His nearest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), finished second in the state.

Clement Alawa, the INEC collation officer for the presidential election in Niger, announced that Mr Tinubu received 375,183 votes out of the total votes cast, defeating Atiku, who received 284,898 votes.

According to the official, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, received 80,452 votes, while the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, received 21,836 votes to finish fourth.

In Borgu Local Government Area, where he holds the traditional title of Jagaban Borgu, the APC candidate won by a landslide. He received 22,491 votes, defeating his PDP opponent who received 9,649 votes in the local government area.

Niger State has 2,667,886 registered voters, of which 827,416 are eligible to vote in the presidential election.

The total number of votes cast was 813,355, with 34,687 votes being rejected. There were 778,668 valid votes.
