Abuja To Host DJ Competition With ₦1 Million Grand Prize

Music and entertainment lovers in Abuja are preparing for an electrifying experience as Lavish Loft Hospitality has unveiled plans to host a DJ competition scheduled for April 25 in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Ireporter Online, the event, titled Spin & Roll, will be held at the Lounge & Games Hub located at Palladium Plaza, 4th Avenue, Gwarimpa, and will showcase a lineup of emerging DJs battling for a grand prize of ₦1 million.

Organisers revealed that additional cash rewards have been set aside for outstanding participants, with the first runner-up expected to receive ₦300,000, while the second runner-up will take home ₦200,000.

Reports indicate that interested contestants are required to pay a registration fee of ₦10,000 and submit a five-minute DJ mix through the designated online portal as part of the entry process.

The competition is also expected to feature guest performances and appearances from notable acts, including DJ Romie, alongside a panel of judges tasked with evaluating contestants based on creativity, technical ability, and stage presence.

An organiser noted that the initiative is designed to provide a platform for emerging DJs to showcase their talent and gain wider recognition within the entertainment industry, adding that the competition aims to promote and nurture new talents in Abuja’s vibrant music scene.

The event is sponsored by Hennessy, Spotlight Groups, and GO5 Stores, with organisers encouraging interested participants and potential sponsors to complete their registration through the official platform.
