Drogba, who was present at the Olympic Stadium of Ebimpé during Ivory Coast’s 1-0 triumph over Congo in the semi-final, was seen celebrating exuberantly, running, jumping, and punching the air after the final whistle.

The Chelsea legend shared a video of his celebration on his Instagram account after the game, accompanied by the caption “we are in the final,” along with the Ivory Coast national flag.

Following Sébastien Haller’s second-half goal, Ivory Coast secured their spot in the AFCON final, where they will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday.

In the other semi-final match, Nigeria emerged victorious over South Africa.

It’s worth noting that Nigeria previously defeated Ivory Coast 1-0 in the group stage of the tournament.
