President Bola Tinubu has been left reeling with sorrow following the sudden passing of Cairo Ojougboh, a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ojougboh, known for his dedication to service and leadership in Delta State, tragically succumbed to a massive heart attack during the intense Nigeria versus South Africa AFCON clash.
Reports indicate that the heart-wrenching incident occurred during the 88th minute of the match when Nigeria faced a penalty against them. Ojougboh, representing the Ika federal constituency of Delta State, reportedly shouted in anguish before collapsing as South Africa secured a crucial goal.
In a heartfelt statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu extended his deepest condolences to the grieving Ojougboh family, as well as the government and people of Delta State.
