The Super Eagles secured their place in the AFCON final after defeating South Africa in a thrilling semi-final encounter that concluded with a penalty shootout, as the match ended 1-1 in regulation time and after 120 minutes.

Nigeria will now await the winner between host Ivory Coast and DR Congo in the final scheduled for Sunday.
