AMAZING: Benin City Host Biggest Dog Carnival Ever (AWESOME PHOTOS/VIDEOS)

Benin City on Sunday witnessed an outstanding roadshow of Dog parade/ Carnival the first of its kind to be held in Edo State.

It was thrilling, captivating and adorable as all kinds of Dogs fully participated at the carnival.

It started at about 3 Pm when the participants(dogs) and the Dog owners started arriving at a meeting point somewhere around Ugbor village road in Benin City.

The gathering was a lovely spectacle to beyond as different breeds of dogs ranging from American Bulldogs , American Eskimo Dog, American Leopard Hound’s, the German Shepherd Dog, Great Dane, Cane Corso, Pekingese, Pit bulls you just name it.

The looks on the faces of residents and onlookers were priceless, dogs that could only be seen in movies and on the internet were live in front of them, the scenario was better experienced than imagined.

From there the crew started a road walk of about 1.5 Killiometre to the major event ground.

You need to see the faces of pedestrians, road users, market traders and residents as the beautiful dogs walked through to the venue of the main party. It was with mixed feelings as some watched in awe, others expressed their love for the dogs while some kids were all over and joined the road walk alongside the dogs.

In about 10 mins the Dog Pound Crew of over 200 dogs arrived at 32 Ugbor central GRA,” Zzone ‘ (food and beverages) which happened to be the venue of the party.

The dogs were treated to a red carpet reception with good music blazing from the speakers, the performance of the DJ was super awesome and can even make the likes of Dj Kaywise green with envy.

Each dog was given a good treat, cans of foods and some other friendly palliatives as well

It was never a dull moment as there was lots of barbeques, grilled chicken, waffles, sauced Kpomo and so many delicacies that went down well with everyone, drinks flowed effortlessly and the dogs’ owners mingled and bubbled till it was time to call it a day.

The show was proudly sponsored by ZZzone(food and beverages), Mr Ik and some other passionate dog lovers.
