Biafra Independence: Ekpa Warns Anyaoku Against Sabotage

Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile has issued a stern warning to Emeka Anyaoku, the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, urging him not to sabotage the ongoing efforts to achieve Biafra’s independence.
In a statement released on Saturday via his official X handle, Ekpa expressed his concerns following Anyaoku’s recent visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, where he led a group of Nigerian elder statesmen known as The Patriot.
During the visit, Anyaoku advocated for changes to Nigeria’s Constitution, a move that has sparked controversy among Biafra independence advocates. Ekpa cautioned Anyaoku against being used as a tool to undermine Biafra’s quest for self-rule.
Ekpa criticized Anyaoku for remaining silent on the marginalization and killings of Biafrans in the South-East and South-South regions. He highlighted the lack of condemnation from Anyaoku regarding these atrocities, despite his claim to represent the people.
“They have dragged you out from your shell of hiding and silence in the presence of the massacre of Biafrans in the South-East and South-South,” Ekpa stated. “You never condemned the killing of the people you claim to be speaking for. Whoever knows Emeka should warn him to stay away from anything that will sabotage our freedom. We always warn before calling on the gods to go after you.”
The statement reflects the growing tension within the Biafra independence movement, as leaders continue to push for self-determination amidst a complex political landscape.
