Boko Haram Attack On Borno Police Barracks Leaves Police Officer And Civilian Dead
The Borno police command reported on Sunday that two individuals were killed during a Boko Haram attack on the Jakana police barracks in Konduga Local Government Area. According to ASP Nahun Daso, the police’s swift response managed to repel the attackers and prevent them from taking over the facility.
The victims included a police officer and a civilian woman, while a police patrol vehicle was also destroyed. Commissioner of Police Yusufu Lawal expressed condolences to the victims’ families and assured that measures have been implemented to enhance security and prevent future attacks.
