In the interim, the vice chairman of the Akinyele LGA will assume control of the council, while the secretary will take charge of Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) 1 and the assistant secretary will handle LCDA 2.

The allegations against them include acts of impunity, abuse of office, and misuse of local government funds, leading to their suspension. To further investigate these claims, the Assembly has formed an adhoc committee headed by member Peter Ojedokun.
