BREAKING: Memos From Government Ministry Showing Suspension, Appointment Of Replacement For Powerful Boss Emerge (PHOTOS)

The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has taken action in response to corruption allegations against the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo.

Due to the seriousness of the allegations, the Governor has decided to suspend Dr Tajudeen Odetayo from his position.

A memo dated July 11, 2023, issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Muritala Jimoh, was sent to the Acting Registrar of the polytechnic, detailing the allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds, and abuse of office against Dr Odetayo. As a result, an investigation has been launched into these allegations.

In light of the ongoing investigation, the Governor has appointed Mr Alabi Kehinde Adeyemi as the acting Rector with immediate effect.

This appointment will remain in place until the relevant bodies have properly investigated the allegations against Dr Odetayo.
