According to Ireporter Online, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed recent online claims suggesting that he had been killed. Officials described the reports as entirely false.

The controversy began after Netanyahu shared a video on his X account showing him at a press conference discussing ongoing tensions between Israel, the United States, and Iran. Observers noted an unusual detail on his hand in the footage, prompting speculation that the video had been altered using artificial intelligence.

The clip showed Netanyahu briefly raising his right hand, and some social media users claimed they saw what appeared to be a sixth finger. The anomaly sparked widespread discussion online, with some linking the irregularity to AI errors.

The rumours intensified as public figures and commentators questioned the Prime Minister’s whereabouts, suggesting that doctored videos might have been posted or removed by his office. Others highlighted minor inconsistencies in the background, including stationary Israeli flags alongside moving curtains, as potential signs of video manipulation.

In response, Netanyahu’s office told Anadolu Agency that the Prime Minister is unharmed and that the claims are baseless. Officials confirmed that the video is authentic and that Netanyahu continues to carry out his duties amid the rising regional tensions.

“These are fake news; the Prime Minister is fine,” the office stated.
