The first-class traditional ruler, who dedicated 58 years of his life to the throne of Moro’a in Kaura Government Area, was laid to rest amidst heartfelt tributes and solemn ceremonies.

Chief Tagwai Sambo, aged 88 at the time of his passing, was celebrated not only for his long tenure but also for his unwavering commitment to peace and community development. Born on December 24, 1936, Chief Sambo assumed leadership at a youthful age of 30 in 1966, following his distinguished service as the Commissioner for Works and Housing in the North Regional Government.

The funeral service, held at the Manchok Township Square, was graced by dignitaries from across Kaduna State and beyond. Among them were the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Hadiza Balarabe, former Governor Ahmed Makarfi, and Senator Sunday Katung.
