BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu Is No Longer In Abuja Hospital After DSS Granted Him Access To His Personal Doctors (DETAILS)

On Sunday, the leader of the separatist Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, was returned to the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) after being temporarily released on Saturday to be attended to by his personal physician.

The Federal High Court in Abuja had ordered the DSS on July 20 to grant Kanu access to his personal doctors, despite the DSS’s objection. IPOB stated that Kanu is suspected to be suffering from an ear infection and requires surgery.

According to Ifeanyi Ejiofor, counsel for the IPOB leader, Kanu had access to his personal physicians and was attended to after preliminary examinations. However, Ejiofor declined to provide further details about Kanu’s health conditions.

Ejiofor had previously tweeted on Saturday that Kanu had met with his personal doctors at a hospital in Abuja, which was outside the DSS facility. He described the medical examination as seamless and productive. Ejiofor assured IPOB supporters of keeping them updated on Kanu’s health status, welfare, and legal matters.
