The presentation, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen, follows the recent approval of ₦47.96 trillion by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the 2025 fiscal year. The budget outlines priorities for infrastructure development, fiscal consolidation, and social investment programs. It also addresses critical sectors such as healthcare, education, security, and infrastructure, while tackling issues like inflation, unemployment, and the rising cost of living. The National Assembly will now review and deliberate on the proposed allocations as part of the ongoing economic reforms.
