Court Delivers 3-Week Community Service Sentence For Trouser Theft—The Reason Revealed

by a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Kaduna on Thursday, after he admitted to the theft.

The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, emphasized that the prosecution had presented sufficient evidence to support the charge. The community service sentence was ordered to be completed either at the court premises or at a government agency.

The theft, reported by Timothy Isaac at the Barnawa Police Station on November 27, involved Dauda trespassing into Isaac’s home and making off with the items valued at N380,000.
