Cristiano Ronaldo Weds Georgina Rodriguez In Secret Portugal Ceremony

According to Ireporter Online, representatives of the Portuguese football star confirmed that the ceremony was private and intimate, with the couple’s five children among those in attendance.

Ronaldo also appeared to confirm the development on social media by sharing a photograph showing his hand and Rodriguez’s hand wearing wedding rings, accompanied by the caption, “C ❤️ G.”

The wedding reportedly took place in Cascais, a coastal resort located about 30 kilometres west of Lisbon, where the couple are said to own a home.

The choice of venue came after weeks of speculation in Portuguese media about where the high-profile ceremony would take place. Earlier reports had linked the wedding to locations including Sintra and Funchal, Ronaldo’s birthplace on Madeira Island.

Reports that the ceremony could take place in Funchal had attracted significant public attention, with large numbers of people reportedly gathering around the city’s cathedral. Church officials, however, said no wedding involving Ronaldo had been scheduled there.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met in Madrid in 2016 while Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store. Rodriguez has previously described their first encounter as an instant connection.

Over the years, the pair have become one of the most recognised celebrity couples in global sports, attracting a massive following across social media platforms.

Rodriguez has also established her own public profile through fashion, television and social media. She is the star of the Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, which offers viewers a glimpse into aspects of her life, including family, fashion and travel.

The couple have also developed business interests in areas including fashion and hospitality.
