According to Ireporter Online, popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Woli Arole, has strongly criticized the trending saying, “I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa,” describing it as a meaningless and misguided statement.

The comment gained renewed attention amid public discussions surrounding the reported marital issues between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko. Reacting via his Instagram page, the UK-based entertainer condemned the mindset behind the phrase, urging his followers to rethink such beliefs. He stressed that material wealth should not justify emotional suffering.
