Crying Over Women Is Not The Answer—Yul Edochie Advises Men On What To Do Instead
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked widespread criticism following a controversial message directed at men dealing with heartbreak.
The actor made the comment in response to a statement by media personality Do2dtun, who had encouraged men to speak up about their emotional struggles rather than suffer in silence. While Do2dtun’s message focused on vulnerability and emotional expression, Yul Edochie took a different stance, dismissing crying over romantic issues and urging men to move on in a more extreme manner.
In his post, Edochie suggested that instead of grieving over a woman, men should “replace her with multiple new partners” and move on without emotional distress, a statement that quickly generated backlash across social media platforms.
His remarks have since ignited debate online, with many users criticizing the advice as insensitive and promoting unhealthy relationship behavior, while others continue to discuss the broader conversation around masculinity and emotional expression.
