Dangote Stuns Nigerians With Another Petrol Price Drop – What’s The New Rate?

This marks the second price reduction in February 2025, following an earlier ₦60 decrease. The refinery’s decision is aimed at providing relief to Nigerians in light of the upcoming Ramadan season, while also supporting President Bola Tinubu’s economic recovery plan by easing the financial strain on citizens.

Under the new pricing structure, consumers in Lagos can purchase fuel at ₦860 per litre at MRS outlets. The updated prices will apply across different regions, with petrol priced at ₦870 per litre in the South-West, ₦880 per litre in the North, and ₦890 per litre in the South-South and South-East.
