Davido Reveals He Spends ₦400 Million Every Month
Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, an amount estimated at roughly ₦300 million to ₦400 million.
According to Ireporter Online, the singer made the revelation during a recent livestream with popular streamer Davrel, where he spoke about the financial demands that come with maintaining a celebrity lifestyle.
Davido explained that his estimated monthly expenses cover only his personal commitments and do not include the costs associated with his wife, Chioma Adeleke, or other members of his household. He also noted that the figure excludes major luxury purchases such as exotic cars and expensive jewellery.
Speaking during the livestream, the music star remarked that being a public figure comes with enormous financial responsibilities, stressing that his monthly spending falls within the $200,000 to $300,000 range before accounting for family expenses and luxury acquisitions.
In a separate development, Davido reacted to a viral social media video featuring Ozonna Soludo, the son of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, dancing and singing along to a controversial song that referenced several prominent Nigerian political figures, including President Bola Tinubu and his father.
The video generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing surprise that Ozonna continued enjoying the song despite the mention of his father. Davido also joined the conversation, finding the moment amusing and leaving a comment suggesting that Ozonna appeared unbothered by the public attention and possible backlash the video had attracted.
