Davido Reveals Why He Refuses To Block Trolls Online
Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up on why he chooses not to block trolls on social media despite their frequent negative remarks. According to Ireporter Online, the singer explained via his handle that he prefers to allow his critics to continue viewing his successes rather than cutting them off. He noted that blocking them would only deny them the opportunity to witness his achievements, which he insists they must keep watching.
Davido, however, cautioned that while he tolerates constant monitoring, he will not hesitate to hurl curses at anyone who takes their criticism to extreme levels. In his words, “Me I no Dey block … I wan make u Dey see my doings… but I go curse ur papa.”
In a separate development, Davido has dismissed viral claims that he was slapped during his recent visit to Warri, Delta State. Reports revealed that the singer had attended a wedding in the state over the weekend before making an appearance at a club. A video circulating online showed the moment he was struck on the head as he exited the venue, with claims suggesting a fan had slapped him.
Clarifying the incident, Davido stated on that it was not a fan but rather one of his security personnel who mistakenly hit him while trying to shield him from the crowd.
