Democracy In Nigeria Is Dying – Peter Obi Criticizes Leadership Failures

Obi emphasized that Nigerians must unite to rebuild the country, one where everyone has equal opportunities. He stressed the importance of creating a nation where poverty is eradicated, children have access to education, and healthcare systems function effectively.

“The dying democracy has fueled rampant corruption, insecurity, and rising poverty, creating further hardship for the people,” Obi said.

He also urged the people of Ondo to reject vote trading, denouncing the practice of using stolen funds to buy votes. Obi called for a shift from consumption to production, aiming to generate jobs and create a better future for Nigerians.
