Elebute-Halle, through her non-profit organisation, Dominion Group, feted 800 inmates and warders, and donated food items and other essential items.

The elated inmates were unafraid of their current situation, as they repeated the gesture with beautiful songs and took part in games and other activities.
The former governorship candidate, who was represented by the group’s National President, Chief Eponlolaye Eniola, said the event was part of the organization’s corporate social responsibility to help the less fortunate. Dominion Group, she said, was interested in touching lives and putting a smile on the faces of vulnerable people, and that the visit was primarily to show love, support, and celebrate the seasons with the inmates.

“We’re here to celebrate the season with the inmates and members of the facility to let them realise that all hope are not lost. I believe It is important to show love and care to the inmates, their freedom may be restricted for a period of time, but they are still part of the society and might regain their freedom someday. I felt the need to make them happy and celebrate the Christmas and New Year with them.
