At the wake-keep, Kunle addressed the crowd, expressing his paternal-like relationship with Aremu, noting that he is 10 years older and had played a significant role in raising him. He said, “I want to tell Aremu’s friends that I am not just his brother; I am his father. I trained him, but love conquers all.”

Aremu, in turn, apologized for his past actions, acknowledging the pain he caused Kunle through social media backlash. He said, “My greatest joy today is that my mother made us reconcile. She never stopped praying for us. I’m sorry for putting Kunle through the Instagram drama—it’s all because I love him.”
