See How Man Brutally Stabs Cousin To Death In Shocking Family FeudThe Lagos State Police Command has launched a manhunt for Ganiyu Ibrahim, who is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing his cousin, Afeez Akeem, to death. According to Naija News, police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, revealing that the altercation between the two cousins escalated into a violent confrontation.

During the fight, Ibrahim reportedly broke a bottle and fatally stabbed Akeem in the chest. Despite immediate efforts by detectives to investigate the scene, Ibrahim fled and remains at large, with police actively working to locate and arrest him.

Hundeyin also noted that Akeem’s family opted against an autopsy, choosing instead to bury him according to Islamic rites.

The statement reads: “On 14/10/2024, around 7 PM, a complainant reported that her son, Ganiyu Ibrahim, and her nephew, Afeez Akeem, were involved in a dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. Ganiyu broke a bottle and stabbed Afeez in the left side of his chest. The victim was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.

“Detectives were immediately mobilized to the scene for investigation, and photographs were taken. The suspect is currently at large. Investigations continue, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend him.”
