Breaking News: Man-Arrested For Beating Girlfriend And Killing Good-Samaritan (Details)
A 27-year-old Georgia man, Jordan Talley, has been arrested in the United States for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and fatally attacking a man who tried to intervene. The incident, reported by Fox News, occurred on March 31 in downtown Orlando.
Talley faces charges of manslaughter and domestic battery. According to Orange County deputies, surveillance footage captured Talley hitting a woman in front of a law office near the intersection of Robinson Street and Magnolia Avenue. Talley is seen pulling the woman by her hair and violently throwing her to the ground.
Donald Storie, a 64-year-old bystander, was nearby with his wife, daughter, and her fiancé when he heard the woman screaming for help. Storie approached the couple to assist the distressed woman, but Talley punched him. Storie was later taken off life support and died on April 23.
Further surveillance video shows Talley and his girlfriend getting into a car, which detectives traced back to Talley’s home in Georgia. He was subsequently taken into custody by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
During interrogation, Talley admitted to punching Storie, claiming he did so out of concern for his girlfriend’s safety.
