Don’t let False Narratives Define You,” Woli Arole Cautions
According to Ireporter Online, comedian and cleric, Woli Arole, has advised individuals to be more intentional about protecting their reputation both online and offline, warning that unchecked negative narratives can damage personal and professional growth.
Arole stated that people should not sit back and allow others to create false impressions about them among friends, colleagues, or in public spaces. He stressed that narratives are powerful and can easily shape how others perceive an individual if not properly addressed.
In a post shared on Instagram, he urged people to “stand tall” in defending themselves wherever necessary, adding that no one should allow others to speak ill of them directly without correction. He further emphasized that words carry significant influence and should not be ignored when used to misrepresent someone.
The motivational speaker noted that he is intentional about speaking positively about himself and rejects what he described as false claims or damaging narratives. He also stated that he responds firmly to criticism, including accusations directed at his identity and ministry, insisting that he does not accept negative labels being attached to him.
Arole maintained that he does not tolerate harmful narratives about his work or calling, adding that he is deliberate about protecting what he is building. According to him, allowing false statements to spread unchecked can undermine years of effort and purpose.
He concluded that being vocal about oneself is necessary, saying he openly affirms himself and rejects any attempt to distort his image or reputation.
