Fathia Williams Declares “Saidi Balogun Can’t Stop Me From Remarrying

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Fathia Williams has addressed her relationship with her former husband, Saidi Balogun, emphasizing that they continue to maintain a respectful and peaceful connection despite their separation.

Speaking in a video that surfaced online shortly after the burial of her late mother, Williams responded to long-standing questions about her past marriage, noting that their bond is now built on mutual respect and shared responsibilities as parents. She revealed that they maintain regular communication, partly due to their collaboration in the film industry and their shared role in raising their children.

Williams described Balogun as a responsible father, explaining that their relationship as co-parents and colleagues persists even after the end of their marriage. She stressed that her past marriage will not dictate her future decisions, particularly regarding remarriage.

“I respect him as my ex, my child’s father, and my colleague. He’s a wonderful father. He can’t stop me from marrying again. If I meet the right person, I’ll marry again,” Williams said.
