Federal Government Launches Anti-Corruption And Transparency Unit In Youth Ministry

At the inauguration, the Permanent Secretary, represented by Mr. Kabir Mohammad, Director of Education and Youth Development, emphasized that this step marked a significant milestone in the Ministry’s commitment to transparency and good governance. He expressed appreciation for the ICPC’s support and recognized the efforts of the Ministry’s staff in establishing the unit following its separation from the Ministry of Sports.

Bamidele encouraged the newly inaugurated ACTU members to perform their duties with integrity, professionalism, and excellence, stressing the importance of transparency in the Ministry’s operations. He also urged Heads of Departments to collaborate with the ACTU on integrity and compliance, highlighting their crucial role in the Ministry’s performance evaluation.

Mr. Olusegun Adigun, representing the ICPC Chairman, also commended the ACTU’s formation, underscoring its alignment with the Ministry’s vision of empowering Nigerian youth and contributing to national development. He encouraged the Ministry’s leadership to provide an enabling environment for the unit’s success.
