Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called for the arrest of controversial relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, following her admission regarding claims of breast cancer that sparked widespread public reaction.

According to Ireporter Online, Blessing CEO recently addressed the controversy during an interview on the online programme Young and Healthy Bros, hosted by content creator Egungun, where she clarified issues surrounding her health status. She attributed the confusion to miscommunication, noting that she had only just received biopsy results and had not commenced chemotherapy, while further tests were still pending to determine the stage of the illness.

Amid growing backlash, Blessing CEO acknowledged receiving ₦13 million from members of the public but stated she would neither apologise nor refund the donations, a position that has intensified criticism across social media platforms.

Reacting in a detailed Instagram post, Onuoha condemned the development, describing it as deeply disturbing and unacceptable. She argued that soliciting financial assistance under false pretences goes beyond mere misconduct and constitutes serious deception, stressing that appealing to public sympathy in such a manner is exploitative.

The actress also rejected remarks credited to Blessing CEO during an appearance on ARISE TV, where the latter reportedly suggested the situation was a test of loyalty and affection. Onuoha maintained that genuine affection cannot be measured through manipulation or financial exploitation.

She further warned that such actions could erode public trust and negatively impact individuals genuinely battling critical illnesses, as people may become reluctant to offer assistance in the future. Onuoha urged authorities, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to thoroughly investigate the matter and ensure accountability if the allegations are substantiated.
