Gunmen Kidnap Emir And His Wife

According to Nansel, the Emir was abducted from his palace, located a short distance from the Mararraba main town in Karu Local Government Area, on Sunday night by a group of kidnappers.

Despite a distress call, a joint effort by the police and local vigilante groups to search the nearby bushes did not yield any results in locating the abducted couple.

Efforts to secure the release of the Emir and his wife are currently ongoing. Additional police personnel from the Police Tactical Team, Anti-Kidnapping Unit, and officers from the Karu Area Command have been deployed to the area to assist in the rescue operation.
